The Community Foundation’s 30th annual report to the community is on the books for tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Season’s Lodge Hotel and Conference Center (560 State Road 46).

“We will be reporting on the happenings of 2023,” Community Foundation Finance and Programs Manager Jenise Bohbrink said. “We will be highlighting 30 years of impact on the community. 2023 was our 30 year anniversary.”

Bohbrink said the winners of the John D. Rudd Community Service, Environment Stewardship and Chairman’s awards will be announced. The 2024 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar Eli Webb will also be speaking at the event about his plans after receiving the scholarship.

Bohbrink said that Rainwater Studio put together a video highlighting the 2023 year that will be shown and hors d’oeuvres will be available for attendees. Four pieces of jewelry, a bracelet, necklace, ring and earrings will be given away at the event courtesy of Touch of Silver, Gold and Old.

The event is also scheduled to include information about the 2024 awarded spring community grants, as well as strategic plans on where the future of the Community Foundation is headed and how it will coalesce with the Brown County community.

Bohbrink said reservations are not required, but are welcomed. The event is free and open to the public and they are anticipating between 100 and 125 people to attend.

Parties interested in reserving a spot at the event can contact the Community Foundation by phone at 988-4882 or email at [email protected].
