Where’s There: Where’s Dakota this week?

Hey there, Brown County! It’s your dedicated drifter back again with another location. This week I am where the tails wag and whiskers curl.

This non-profit services the dogs and cats of Brown County. From re-homing to re-uniting, this place is where many long term commitments are made. It is also a great space to dedicate time in the name of animal welfare.

I also service the dogs and cats of the county in another way— by entertaining and chasing them as they run from me terrified.

How does the saying go… it’s raining cats and dogs? Well at this stop, it really is.

Think you know where I am? Send us an email at [email protected] or stop by our office with your guess in-person. One lucky person will be chosen at random to win a personal copy of 175 Years of Brown County.

We had three correct guesses that I was at Van Buren Elementary School last week. Thank you Sharon Roth, Betsy Hawkins and Chris Eickleberry for your continued support as I re-familiarize myself with the county. You guys inspire me to keep exploring.

The winner of last week’s puzzler was… drum roll please, Betsy Hawkins! Congratulations, Betsy!

Feel free to stop by our office during regular hours to grab your copy of 175 Years of Brown County and get a photo with me. We are out and about a lot, so you might want to call ahead (988-2221) to make sure I’m here!
