Brown County Rising: A film series about community wellness

This film series is free to attend. It takes place Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. with The Addicts Wake: Educational edit. Amidst the thousands of teen overdoses, and the on-going fentanyl epidemic, there is hope. The creators of the award-winning documentary, The Addict’s Wake give us a reworked film that contains dynamic new material specifically geared toward young people, examining addiction issues and recovery from the teen perspective. A short panel discussion with the audience and a Q&A will follow this 55 minute film. Meet the filmmaker!

Film Series Continues:

Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. – The Social Dilemma

Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. – Wrestling Ghosts

Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St.
