The Brown County Community Foundation celebrated 30 years of service on Thursday, July 25 at their Annual Meeting and Report to the Community. The pearl-themed event held at the Seasons Lodge honored those who’ve served since the Foundation’s inception in 1993 while looking to the future opportunities with promise.

Nearly 150 attendees enjoyed wonderful food and drink while listening to music performed by Carolyn Dutton. Scholarship recipients and nonprofit leaders shared stories of the importance and impact of the Foundation’s grants through a wonderful video created by Rainwater Studios. The 2024 Community Grant award recipients were announced. The 2023 Annual Report includes stories of previous grantees, a tribute to Ruth Reichmann who initiated the formation of the Brown County Community Foundation and lists of donors and staff who make the vision of a thriving Brown County community possible.

Award recipients include:

· Beverly Teach and Jan Mills-Chairman Award

· Friends of Brown County State Park-Environmental Leadership Award

· Kevin Ault-Volunteer of the Year

· Michael Fulton-John D. Rudd Award

The Brown County Community Foundation wishes to thank all those who made the evening memorable and meaningful, including the volunteer organizing committee led by Shaely King, the venue, Wendy King Photography, and our sponsors: Blue and Company, Brown County Title, Carpenter Hills O’Brown Realty, Mason Investment Advisory Services, Inc., Rainwater Studios, The Peoples State Bank and Touch of Silver Gold and Old.
