Where’s there?

Hey Brown County! Your anxious adventurer is bringing you a new location this week.

This business has been on the corner of State Roads 135 and 46 for as long as I can remember. I used to walk here after school to grab snacks before practice. That should tell you something! My favorites used to always be the Pepper Jack Tornados and blue Gatorade — not a very good combination in hindsight, but they got me through the rough times.

This location is a one stop shop for day trippers, commuters and locals alike. Without it we quite literally could not get anywhere. As Beyonce says, girls run the world … but so does gasoline.

So, Brown County… where’s there?

Think you know where I am? Send us an email at [email protected] or stop by our office with your guess in-person. When there is more than one correct guess, a person is chosen at random. The winner receives their very own copy of “175 Years of Brown County.”

Last week we had one correct guess that I was at Sweetea’s Tea Shop. Congratulations to our winner, Sharon Roth! Thanks for playing along, Sharon!

Feel free to stop by our office during regular hours (M-F, 9-4) to pick up your copy of “175 Years of Brown County,” and get a photo taken with me!

We are out and about a lot, so you might want to call ahead (988-2221) to make sure I’m there!
