New exhibits at Brown County Art Guild

The Brown County Art Guild is celebrating a milestone birthday this year: Seventy years of continuous operation in the same location. This momentous occasion will be honored with exceptional artistic talent showcased throughout the year.

Through Nov. 8, the Guild Artist Exhibition and Sale offers a fresh new collection of fine art for display and sale. Stop in to tour the galleries and immerse yourself in the striking talent of our award-winning member artists.

Also through Nov. 8, the Jubilee Collection II: Special Exhibition & Sale features a talented grouping of guild artists. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to view and acquire exceptional works of art.

The guild is a not-for-profit organization located in the heart of downtown Nashville at 48 S. Van Buren St. On display throughout its galleries is a prized collection of historic paintings as well as current works for sale from regional award-winning member artists. Also offered throughout the year are artist demonstrations, workshops, and special exhibits.

Hours through December are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Sunday, or by appointment.

Annual Studio Tour through Oct. 31

The 26th annual Brown County Studio Tour runs through Oct. 31. This is a self-guided tour of working artists’ studios throughout Brown County. Enjoy Brown County’s scenic backroads as you travel to different locations where you will have the unique opportunity to meet the artists, tour their studios and purchase directly from them.
