Historical society

The Brown County Historical Society will meet Monday, April 4, at the History Center, 90 E. Gould St.

A member of the Indiana Historical Society will present “Mapping Indiana,” about historical maps from across the state. The dinner meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a pitch-in dinner. Bring your own place setting. All are welcome.

Woodworkers club

The Brown County Woodworkers will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Brown County Public Library. Wood turner Max Monts will be featured.

Widowed group

The Brown County Widowed Group will sponsor a euchre party at Sycamore Valley Community Center, 746 Memorial Drive at the fairgrounds, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12. Any widowed person is welcome.

Photography club

The Brown County Photography Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in lower-level meeting room C of the Brown County Public Library, 205 N. Locust Lane. Open to photographers of all skill levels, the next meeting is April 12.

Drop-in visitors are welcome. The club hosts monthly field trips to nearby venues for photo shoots.
