A Nashville man was arrested April 5 after a person reported him as a drunken driver.
Nashville Police Officer Matt Hatchett pulled over Benjamin Jayson Gold, 39, on North Jefferson Street at about 6 p.m.
Hatchett reported in a probable cause affidavit that Gold’s eyes were red and watery and that he could smell alcohol on him.
A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.14, over the legal limit of 0.08.
A minor passenger was in the vehicle, the probable cause affidavit said.
On April 8, Gold was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.
