AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on April 25, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Gregory and Shannon Rose for a Special Exception to allow a Waste Water Treatment Facility.
The location of the property is 1462 State Road 46 West in Washington Township.
Legal description of premises:
Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 35, Township 9 North, Range 2 East, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at a stone found marking the Northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 35; thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds East (assumed bearing) 1329.30 feet to a rebar found marking the Northeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 35, said rebar also marking the Northwest. quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 35; thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds East on and along the North line of said Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, 406.11 feet to a rebar found in the West right of way of State Road No.. 46; thence the following Eight (8) courses are with the West right of way: South 08 degrees 02 minutes 36 seconds East 89.80 feet to a concrete right of way monument, South 24 degrees 59 minutes 44 seconds West 333.87 feet -to a concrete right of way monument, South 23 degrees 02 minutes 17 seconds West 266.03 feet to a concrete right of way monument, South 25 degrees 14 minutes 13 seconds West 181.03 feet to a concrete right of way monument, South 29 degrees -59 minutes 53 seconds West 190.14 feet to a concrete right of way monument, South 42 degrees 54 minutes 03 seconds West 127.73 feet to a concrete right of way monument,. South 42 degrees 51 minutes 07 seconds West 217.97 feet to a concrete right of way monument and South 40 degrees,45 minutes 10 seconds West 186.31 feet to an iron pipe found in the South line of said Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter; thence South 69 degrees 41 minutes 04 seconds West on and along said South line 959.18 feet to a rebar found marking, the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 35; thence North 00 degrees 36 minutes 44 seconds West on and along the West line of said Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter 1362.09 feet to the beginning, containing 44.849 acres, more or less.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building located at 201 Locust Lane Nashville, Indiana.
All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
