AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on February 27th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Elizabeth Burdsall to allow a Special Exception for a Tourist Home.

The location of the property is 9612 Myers Road, Morgantown, Indiana in Hamblen Township.

A Part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Fractional Section 5, Township 10 North, Range 3 East, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows:

Commencing at a stone at the Southeast corner of the above described half quarter; thence with the East line thereof North 00 degrees 25 minutes West 165.0 feet to an iron pin at the Northeast corner of a 5 acre tract described in Deed Record No. 82 on page 315, which is the POINT OF BEGINNING for the real estate herein described; thence South 88 degrees 41 minutes West 1351.8 feet to an iron pin placed at the base of a corner post at the Northwest corner of said 5 acre tract; thence with the West line of said section North 00 degrees 00 minutes East 649.1 feet to an iron pin; thence North 79 degrees 30 minutes East 958.0 feet to an iron pin; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes East 100.0 feet to an iron pin; thence with the centerline of a county road South 86 degrees 37 minutes East 403.8 feet to an iron pin on the East line of the half quarter; thence South 00 degrees 25 minutes East 869.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 23.950 acres, more or less.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building located at 201 Locust Lane Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
