Ronald Scott Hruban

Ronald Scott Hruban, age 64, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday morning, Aug. 18, 2020 at his home in Brown County.

He was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Indianapolis, to his parents, the late Joseph John and Hermina Julia (Farkas) Hruban. Ron grew up in Speedway and was a 1975 graduate of Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis. He married Angela Allgeier on Dec. 11, 1976 in Indianapolis. Together they raised three children and built a life in Brown County. She lovingly survives after 43 devoted years of marriage.

Ron retired March 2018 after working in various departments over his 42 years of service at Allison Transmission. He was a member of the NRA and UAW Local 933 in Indianapolis. Ron was also a member of St. Anges Catholic Church in Nashville. He enjoyed deer hunting, hunting artifacts and was a historian at heart. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and being involved in his children and grandchildren’s lives.

Ron will be missed by his wife, Angela Hruban, sons: Daniel Scott, Sean Emmerich and Anthony James Hruban all of Brown County, grandchildren: Vanessa Martin, Lily, Isabel and Maverich Hruban.

In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of life visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends are welcome to join in food and fellowship following the visitation at the Morgantown Community Center: 259 West Washington Street in Morgantown. Inurnment will be held at East Hill Cemetery at a later date.
