Matthew Hatchett
BLOOMINGTON — Nashville native Matthew Hatchett graduated from the Indiana State Police Recruit School on Oct. 19.
He will spend the next three months working with experienced field training officers, before being assigned a state police vehicle and beginning solo patrol in primarily Brown County.
A 2012 graduate of Brown County High School, Hatchett spent one year at Ivy Tech Bloomington and one year at the University of Southern Indiana studying exercise science. He previously served with the Indiana Capitol Police and the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department.
