SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, April 12: Lunch at Nazarene church, bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
Thursday, April 19: Cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; nurse’s visit, 10 to 11 a.m.
potluck, 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, April 21: Meet the candidates for the upcoming primary election at sausage gravy breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger.
Monday, April 23: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.
Thursday, April 26: Lunch at Out of the Ordinary restaurant, bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
