Suspicious activity nets 2 arrests

A traffic stop for suspicious activity resulted in the arrests of two visitors.

The location of the stop was not noted in the probable cause affidavit. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht stopped a vehicle on June 15 that contained Asia Urrea, 22, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Craig Lenahan, 44, of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Eggebrecht reported finding less than five grams of methamphetamine and a syringe in Urrea’s possession. The substance inside the syringe field-tested positive for methamphetamine, his report said.

Lenahan had a glass smoking device and a Minnesota license plate that was confirmed to be stolen, the report said.

On June 15, Lenahan was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; conversion, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Urrea was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; and unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony.
