BROWN COUNTY FAIR: Baby contest results

Over 30 of Brown County’s tiniest residents participated in the Brown County 4-H Fair baby contest on July 21 before the official start of the fair. The theme was cowgirl/cowboy.

A change to the competition this year was the division of boys and girls within the age categories. Categories were: 3-6 months; 7-9 months; 10-12 months; 1-year-olds and 2-year olds.

The judges this year Brown County juvenile probation officer Brenda Dewees, 2017 Brown County Fair Princess Jessica Taylor and 2017 first-runner up queen contestant Hannah Huber.

Kendra Satter, 2017 Brown County Fair queen, also was at the contest to hand out ribbons to the winners.

Infant Stevie Totten won overall first place in the contest after winning the 7- to 9-month girl division. Her parents are Emma and Kaleb Totten.

All first-place winners competed at the end of the evening in one final round to earn the overall first-place winner title.
