LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING VARIANCE

BROWN COUNTY AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Area Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on September 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Charles and Kimberly Harper for approval of an application to allow a location Variance.

Legal description of premises:

The Part of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows:

Beginning at a rebar set North 01 degree 07 minutes West 278.0 feet and North 89 degrees SO minutes East 478.4 feet from an iron pipe found marking the Southwest corner of said Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter, thence North 08 degrees 43 minutes East 313.4 feet to a road nail set in the center of Old State Road No. 46; thence Southeasterly with the center of Old State Road No. 46,102.8 feet to a road nail set; thence South 13 degrees 13 minutes West 298.0 feet to a rebar set; thence South 89 degrees 50 minutes West 80.4 feet to the beginning, containing 0.64 acre, more or less.

The property is located at 255 Old State Road 46 in the Town of Nashville in Washington Township.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building located at 201 Locust Lane Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the application. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
