A new agent has joined the Brown County Real Estate team.
Kara Hammes grew up in Ohio, but has lived in Indiana all of her adult life. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, then lived in Pendleton while working and earning her master’s degree in public health from Indiana University Medical School. The Hammes family, which includes husband Clint and two daughters, Ayla (6) and Bree (4), moved to Nashville from Zionsville in 2016.
Hammes has been a licensed real estate agent since October 2015. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, do-it-yourself projects and hiking. She looks forward to sharing her love of the area and its beauty with her clients at Brown County Real Estate, reports Managing Broker Danny Key.
