The boys’ golf team defeated Hauser yesterday afternoon at Clifty Creek Golf Course 183 to 206. Senior Parker VanNess fired a 39 to lead the Eagles and capture medalist honors, while fellow senior Curtis Lookebill captured runner-up medalist with a 43.

Senior Parker VanNess fired a one-over-par 72 and tied for second at the Brown County Invitational Saturday at Salt Creek Golf Retreat. Capturing medalist honors with a 70 and leading his team to the championship was Damon Dickey of Franklin Community High School. Center Grove High School put four golfers at 80 or lower to grab the runner-up spot. Brown County plays Martinsville and Indian Creek Monday, April 8 at Foxcliff Golf Course in Martinsville.
