OUTDOOR BRIEFS: Zip lines reopen; free mountain bike rides; Whiskey Chaser runs

Screamer zip lines reopen at eXplore BC

VAN BUREN TWP. — EXplore Brown County on Valley Branch Road has reopened its Screamer zip lines. The twin racing zips, once known as the Indy 1220, allow participants to race each other.

Those lines are typically closed from mid-November to late February. During the off-season, staff expanded the platform at the end of the tour. The expanded platform will allow the outdoor adventure center to accommodate bigger groups on these lines at one time.

The Screamer line can be enjoyed as a part of two different tours: the Zip On! Tour and the Screamer Tour. For more information, visit explorebrowncounty.com.
