Letter: I’m running for Congress in the 9th District

To the editor:

I am a school teacher the in Los Angeles Unified School District where I have been employed for the last 20 years. My roots in Indiana began with my birth in Indiana on a farm, followed by my education through high school and participation in Future Farmers of America, 4-H, the Debate Society and theatre.

I am running to establish a GREEN RURAL NEW DEAL in the great Ninth District of Indiana that would include: health care for all; internet accessibility for our youth in rural areas for learning and education; local economic development to narrow economic inequality; re-establish labor unions, and more importantly, combat climate change through carbon-free infrastructure plans and projects.

My education and experience ranges from a master’s degree in health care management to several years as a legislative analyst on the Hopi Tribe Indian Reservation. More information about my education and experience can be found on my website and on Ballotpedia.org.

As of now, I am practicing social distancing and sheltering in place. You may contact me at 323-222-2020 or through my email: [email protected].

VOTE FOR ME — NO CAMPAIGN FUNDING WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE PRIMARY PERIOD.

James C. O’Gabhann III, 9th District candidate
