Goat yoga happening at local farm
BELMONT — Sunset Goat Yoga will be offered at the Goat Conspiracy, 6022 E. Kent Road, Thursday, Sept. 17 from 7 to 8 p.m.
The class is adapted to all levels and will be outside in the outdoor pavilion with sand flooring. Mats are provided or participants can bring their own.
Space is limited to accommodate social distancing. Masks are required until participants are on their mats.

YMCA begins fall session next week
The Brown County YMCA fall class session begins Monday, Sept. 21 and ends Nov. 8. Adult group classes include land and cycle fitness classes, Aqua Power, Tabata, yoga, Silver Sneakers and Zumba. A full schedule is posted at https://browncountyymca.org/healthy-living-classes.
Homeschool swim and gym is also available and satisfies students’ PE credit. Sub groups are kept to a maximum of 10 children. Each child gets an hour of swim time and hour of gym time per week. Groups are:
- Tuesdays, 9 to 11 a.m., kindergarten through sixth grade. They swim from 9 to 10 a.m., then switch with Grades 3 through 6 to go to gym.
- Thursdays, 9 to 11 a.m., Grades 7 through 12. Grades 7 through 9 swim from 9 to 10 a.m. then switch with Grades 10 through 12 to go to gym.

Annual half-marathon set for November
The Brown County YMCA Hilly Half-Marathon will take place in person the morning of Saturday, Nov. 21. The race starts and finishes at the saddle barn/lower shelter house in Brown County State Park. Virtual options are also available.
The cost to register varies on registration date and race choice.
