Palmer Alan Volbrecht, 73, of Nashville, IN, passed away on September 1, 2023. Born on September 5, 1949, in Munster, IN, Palmer was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many.
Palmer, known to her grandchildren as Nana, was a kind and compassionate person. She had a genuine concern for others and always sought to be a positive influence in their lives. Her caring nature extended to her friends and family, as she cherished the relationships, she had with them.
Palmer is survived by her brother, Bradley Ross of San Diego, CA, her son, Ross Volbrecht of Nashville, IN, her daughter, Aubrey Cole (Ben Cole) of Cincinnati, OH, and her three granddaughters, Kylee Gaskins, Addison Volbrecht, and August Cole. She was a pillar of support and love for her family, and her presence will be deeply missed.
In her educational pursuits, Palmer attended Indiana University, where she furthered her knowledge and skills, particularly in special education.
Throughout her life, Palmer dedicated herself to being a caregiver. She selflessly provided support and assistance to those in need, exemplifying her compassionate nature. Her work as a caregiver allowed her to make a difference in the lives of others, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and empathy.
In her free time, Palmer enjoyed indulging in her hobby of astrology. She found solace and fascination in the study of the stars and their influence on human lives. Her interest in astrology allowed her to explore the mysteries of the universe and gain a deeper understanding of the world around her.
Palmer Alan Volbrecht will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, love, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and a positive impact on the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Palmer’s Life will be held at a later date. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation &Personalization Center in Morgantown.
