To the editor:
The greatest human strength that anyone can possess is the ability to change your own mind.
Seems simple. It’s not. I often wonder how often any of us question our own beliefs. Why do I believe that? Did I fact check what I believe to be true?
We are living in a very interesting time when many have beliefs that simply are not true.
Many believe that women abort babies after birth. That’s called murder. It doesn’t happen.
Many believe COVID vaccines kill. I’ve had 5, still here.
Many believe the 2020 election was stolen. It wasn’t.
Many believe that they know how others should live, what they should read, and how others should dress. How exhausting it must be to try to control others with your beliefs. Participating this way in life does keep one from doing the hard work of looking at oneself, however.
Allow me to ask, are you strong enough to change your mind and let freedom ring for all people?
