BLOOMINGTON — The Local Clay Potters Guild’s 26th annual Holiday Show will take place Friday and Saturday at the Monroe Convention Center, 302 S. College Ave., Bloomington.
A total of 23 professional potters of the Local Clay Potters’ Guild and guest artist Sarah Richcreek of Indianapolis will exhibit their current work. The show presents a wide variety of colorful functional dinnerware, serving pieces, jewelry and whimsical freestanding and wall sculptures for home and garden.
“Each potter brings their own creative process to life and each piece is its own kind of beautiful,” according to a press release from the guild. “See how these artists breathe new life into this ancient art with clay and mineral glazes.”
The show will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the convention center. Guest will have an opportunity to meet artists, browse and shop in the Great Room filled and enjoy a beloved community event.
