Career Resource Center celebrates 62 graduates
The Career Resource Center of Brown County recently celebrated 62 graduates from the 2023-24 program year. The celebration was held at the Educational Service Center’s Main Gym. Students, staff, families, and community members were all present to share in the joy of recognizing each of these adult education students for their accomplishments.
A closer look: Group partner for study, conservation of Kirtland’s snakes
The Sycamore Land Trust, Department of Natural Resources Herpetologists and the Indianapolis Zoo’s Global Center for Species Survival have teamed up to study and conserve the endangered Kirtland’s snake populations in south-central Indiana. These snakes are primarily found in the midwest.
Police plan social event: Celebration part of national campaign
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign on the first Tuesday in August that promotes partnerships between the police and local communities. According to National Night Out’s official website (natw.org) the event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
