The National Maple Syrup Festival made a sweet return to Brown County this year.
Most events took place in Brown County State Park with a shuttle transporting visitors from all over Indiana and surrounding states to and from downtown Nashville.
Guests could partake in syrup-making demonstrations, interpretive hikes, syrup tasting, storytelling, a Maple Market selling syrup and merchandise, live music, and a beer and wine garden.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, guests and locals alike visited the Brown County High School for the Student Council’s pancake breakfast, featuring the high-flying flipping of Chris Cakes, where John and Karen Young served up smiles and pancakes.
