A motorcycle driver was seriously injured Feb. 28 in a crash on State Road 135 North.

John A. Fox, 60, Martinsville, was traveling north on State Road 135 just south of Grandma Barnes Road, when a southbound minivan drove left of center in a curve and into the path of Fox’s 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Fox swerved to miss the van and went off the road where he struck a tree, according to an accident report from Indiana State Police Officer Steven Jordan.

Fox was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital for severe internal injuries. He was later flown to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.

Late last week, Fox was last listed in critical condition. He was wearing a helmet when he crashed.
