Former Brown County resident Cathy Jean (Fivecoat) Ackerman-Gilles, 54, Gosport, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She is survived by her husband, Gary A. Gilles; children, Paul Ackerman III and Ashley (Aaron) Chandler, both of Bloomington, Carie (Cory) Kelsheimer of Terre Haute, and Jason (Victoria) Gilles, John (Jaime) Gilles, Jacob (Andi) Gilles and Danny Gilles, all of California; 14 grandchildren; and siblings, Janet (Tyler) Fivecoat-Asbury, Bill Fivecoat, Robin Morse, Steven Fivecoat and Richard Payton Junior.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from noon until the service at the funeral home.
