VAN BUREN TWP. — A man was flown to Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after he was injured by a horse at Brown County State Park June 11.

Officers and emergency personnel were dispatched at about 9 p.m.

Andrew Frasher, 45, of Portland, was thrown from the horse and while he was on the ground, the horse stepped on his chest, according to a press release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Frasher had complaints of chest and abdominal pain.
