SWEETWATER LAKE — Two more people now face drug-related charges stemming from a police raid on an Antelope Drive home April 27.

On June 10, Melissa S. Morris, 47, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a felony; and Kraig Morris, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

They lived at the home, along with Randall Brown, 52, and a minor, according to police reports.

In April, the Franklin Police Department SWAT team and other officers from Brown and Johnson counties confiscated guns, $9,000 in cash and more than $10,000 worth of drugs from their home.

According to the police report, confidential informants had reported Brown as a “major methamphetamine supplier in Johnson County and surrounding areas” and said he also dealt drugs out of his home.

On April 25, an informant bought methamphetamine from Brown in Johnson County, the report said.

Brown was arrested April 27 as he got out of a Camaro on nearby Sweetwater Drive, after the SWAT team had secured the house in the 6400 block of Antelope.

In the home, police reported finding less than a pound of methamphetamine, worth about $12,000; marijuana; oxycodone pills which weren’t prescribed to anyone at the home; 10 guns; and $9,000 in the master bedroom.

Drugs and paraphernalia also were found in Kraig’s and another child’s bedrooms, the report said.

Randall Brown was charged April 28 with dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony; and possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance, both Level 6 felonies. He was taken to the Johnson County jail.
