ISU spring dean’s list
TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State University named the following area students to its dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester: Emily Brady, Arika Hamblen and Jessica Radtke, all of Nashville.
To be eligible for the list, students must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Taran Snodgress
BLOOMINGTON — Taran Snodgress has been named to the executive dean’s list of Indiana University’s College of Arts & Sciences for spring 2016 semester.
Taran, son of David and Sharon Snodgress of Nashville, is a senior majoring in theater and drama.
Rose Guingrich
BLOOMINGTON — Rose Guingrich has been named to Indiana University’s College of Arts & Sciences executive dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. The list honors students who earned least a 3.7 grade-point average.
Rose, the daughter of Duane and Sharon Guingrich of Nashville, is studying psychology. She was the Brown County High School valedictorian for the class of 2015.

WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue University recognized the following area students with academic honors for the spring 2016 semester:

Michael Schrimper
BOSTON, Massachusetts — Brown County native Michael Schrimper has a new story, “Diversity,” appearing in August in The Cortland Review.
Affiliated faculty at Emerson College, where he teaches in the Writing, Literature & Publishing Department, Schrimper has spent the past three years screening fiction at “Ploughshares,” one of the country’s most esteemed literary journals.
