NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
FOR FIRE CONTRACT YEAR OF 2016 ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THE CURRENT CONTRACT FOR 2016 BUDGET
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana that the Public Mtg. now scheduled for August 11, 2016 has been rescheduled and the proper fiscal body will consider the following additional appropriation to the 2016 Budget and current Fire Contract for the Fruitdale Fire Department and the Jackson Township Fire Department, in excess of the Budget for 2016. The new location for said Public Meeting will be held at the Brown County Library, at 6:30 o’clock p.m., on the 22nd day of August 2016

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance. The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
