Q: In 25 words or less, how would you describe this EP?

A: We are most certainly a rock ‘n’ roll band, but we cover a wide sonic and emotional range. We wanted to make sure to demonstrate those ranges on the record.

Q: What inspired the band to write it? Who contributed to the writing?

A: I wrote all the songs. Ben Cole helped on one of them. The record is a natural progression of where we are; as time went on, we had more and more originals we really felt good about and eventually it felt like the right time to document our evolution.

Q: Has the band released any other albums/EPs?

A: We made a demo of cover songs about three-and-a-half years ago in order to help bookers hear what we sound like. We took that off the site now that we have our own songs to play for folks.

Q: Why this genre of music?

A: (Blues Brothers reference) We’ve got both kinds: rock and roll.

Q: How long has this band been playing together?

A: Ben, Mardi and I have been playing for about four years. We have had different folks on the drum and keyboard chairs. We just changed keyboard players this week. Matt Babineaux recently joined us this month.

Q: Where do you usually perform? Do you have a Facebook/social media page fans can follow for performance dates?

A: We perform a lot in Brown County. We have been wanting to build a following and so much good music happens in Brown County. We want to be a part of this scene. Our Facebook page is facebook.com/theacrebrothers and you can find our website at theacrebrothers.com.

Q: Where can people buy this EP and for how much?

A: Anywhere. It is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and our website theacrebrothers.com.
