A Morgan County man faces a felony marijuana dealing charge after Brown County officers reported finding about 46 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop Sept. 2.

Randy Finch, 36, Mahalasville Road, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for driving while suspended. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht searched the vehicle after smelling raw marijuana, a probable cause affidavit states.

Finch also had scales and baggies, the report said. After he was told his Miranda Rights, Finch told Eggebrecht he did sell marijuana, the affidavit said.

Eggebrecht reported Finch also had less than a gram of methamphetamine and a smoking device with meth residue in it.

Finch was charged Sept. 9 with dealing in marijuana and possession of methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies; and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
