Edward “Murl” Teeters, 92, Trafalgar, died Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his children, Evelyn M. (Thomas) Leohr of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Russell W. (Ann) Teeters of Trafalgar; siblings, Alberta Farr of Edinburgh and Delbert (Nancy) Teeters of Trafalgar; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, some of whom live in Brown County.

Murl was preceded in death by his wife, Lois A. (Utterback) Teeters.

The Rev. Mark Matheny will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home.
