A Chicago woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police clocked her going 84 mph in a 55 mph zone Sept. 18.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Williams reported in a probable cause affidavit that he pulled over Victoria M. Morken, 28, for speeding on State Road 46 East at around 8:05 a.m.

Williams reported smelling alcohol on Morken, that her eyes were bloodshot and her balance was unsteady. A breath test showed her blood-alcohol content to be 0.09, over the limit of 0.08.

She was arrested. On Sept. 19, she was charged with two OWI counts, both misdemeanors.
