Lunches offered through Hickory Ridge

SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Upcoming events:

Thursday, Nov. 10: Lunch at Parkview Church of the Nazarene. Bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10:15 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 12: Bean supper and mystery auction, 5:30 p.m., with beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, hot dogs, drink and dessert, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger. Auction has wrapped packages with three clues per item.

Thursday, Nov. 17: Cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; nurse’s visit, 10 to 11 a.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 19: Breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m., with biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger.

Monday, Nov. 21: Hoosier Hills Food Bank pickup, 9 to 11 a.m.

Thursday, Nov. 24: Center closed for Thanksgiving.

Monday, Nov. 28: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.
