A new trial date has been scheduled for a teen accused of slashing dozens on tires on Artist and Wells drives in July.
Lavelle Albert, 19, was booked into the Brown County jail Dec. 16 on a failure to appear warrant. He appeared in Brown Circuit Court the same day via video conferencing.
A warrant was issued after Albert failed to appear at his final pre-trial conference Nov. 28.
He faces 41 counts of criminal mischief; police said 27 people were victims of tire slashing in the downtown Nashville neighborhood in late July.
All charges against Albert are misdemeanors.
His new trial date is 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15.
