Judith Swift

Brown County Recorder-elect Judith Swift attended the Association of Indiana Counties’ Newly Elected Officials Seminar Dec. 14 to 16 at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel.

It included topics such as purchasing and public bidding, employee/employer issues, State Board of Accounts overview and the basics of county budgeting.

Representatives from the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance, the Indiana Secretary of State’s office and the Indiana State Auditor’s office also discussed a variety of issues specific to different county offices.
