Frances “Fran” W. Rogers, 77, of Nashville, passed away at home with her husband at her side on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017.

She was born Oct. 11, 1939, in Brown County, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah White.

Fran was very involved in the Brown County art community, specifically the Brown County Art Gallery and Indiana Heritage Arts. She was Andy Rogers’ right-hand partner in all business endeavors. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Fran is survived by her loving husband, Andy Rogers; her five daughters, Debby Rogers, Jane Herr (husband, Ron), Anne Rogers, Gina Rogers and Andi Rogers-Bartels (husband, Lance); five grandchildren, Frank “Andy” Herr, Ben Herr, Andino Silvania, Nolan Bartels and Ella Bartels; two brothers, Keith and Tom White; a sister, Kay Parker; and many other beloved family and friends.

A celebration of life gathering will take place at the Nashville House, 15 S. Van Buren St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24.
