Larry James Billings, 74, of Columbus, died at 11:39 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Community Hospital South.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma L. Helton Billings; son, Jeffrey Alan (Amanda) Billings of Nashville; daughter, Kimberly E. Brown of Columbus; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Billings.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rob Hurt officiating.

Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Garland Brook Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
