LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — Kentucky residents can soon get their Quaff ON!.

Nashville-based Quaff ON! Brewing Company has entered into a distribution agreement with Standard Sales Company LP to sell its products in the Kentucky distribution area, which includes Louisville and Owensboro.

Ed Ryan, president of Quaff ON! Brewing Company, said this is Quaff ON!’s first agreement to distribute its product outside Indiana.

“Our fans in Kentucky have told us they want beers like Six Foot Blonde and Busted Knuckle Ale on tap and on the shelves in their hometown,” Ryan said in a press release.

David Ramer, managing partner for Standard Sales Co.’s Louisville and Owensboro locations, said his company has received many inquiries about Quaff ON! products from consumers over the past several months.

“We literally began our relationship with a handshake — the old-fashioned way that I know we both prefer,” Ramer said.

“It makes me very proud that they chose Standard Sales to be their first distributor partner outside the Indiana footprint.”

Quaff ON! will update its beer locator map at quaffon.com as new Kentucky retailers come on board, the press release said.

The Quaff ON! family of companies also includes Big Woods restaurants and Hard Truth gin, rum and vodka. A fifth Big Woods restaurant is slated to open in Franklin this month and a new distillery/brewery is under development for Nashville.

Since the first brewery opened in Nashville late 2009, the company has become one of Brown County’s largest employers.
