Habitat for Humanity selling studs to fund home

Brown County Habitat for Humanity is raising money to finish its next home by selling studs.

Stud sponsorships are being offered for $50. Businesses and individuals can buy a stud, decorate it and display it in their home or place of business, then volunteers will install them in the home when construction progresses to that point.

“A stud sponsorship is even a good alternative birthday present or anniversary gift for the person in your life that has it all,” said Habitat Co-President Marilyn Fagg.

Stud sponsors will be invited to a “stud finder” event after the home in Nashville is framed. At the event, sponsors can meet the family who will be living in the home and have their picture taken with their decorated stud. Sponsors also will be recognized at the home dedication ceremony.

The fundraiser ends May 1. If interested in sponsoring a stud, contact Phyllis Bond at Brown County Habitat at [email protected] or 812-988-4926.
