Brown County mentioned in Washington Post

To learn how federal budget cuts proposed by President Donald Trump could affect the arts, Washington Post reporter Geoff Edgers took a 36-hour car ride through Indiana and made stops in Brown County.

Trump’s budget proposal eliminates funding for the National Endowment for the Arts. Edgers’ story explored how that money is being used.

The story mentions T.C. Steele State Historic Site in Belmont and quotes Brown County Community Foundation CEO Larry Pejeau and Traditional Arts Indiana Director Jon Kay, both of Brown County.
