A 19-year-old Nashville woman faces multiple misdemeanors after police said she was driving with more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in her system after an accident May 9.

Jayna A. R. Cline was driving a vehicle while under the influence when she crashed near the law enforcement center at around 3 p.m., according to a probable cause affidavit by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Austin Schonfeld.

Schonfeld reported smelling alcohol on Cline, seeing alcohol containers in her vehicle, that her eyes were bloodshot/watery and that she locked her keys in the car during the crash investigation.

A breath test revealed her blood-alcohol content to be 0.268, more than three times the legal limit. The results of a chemical test administered at Columbus Regional Hospital are pending.

Cline was charged May 10 with four misdemeanors, including illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
