A Louisville man who was riding in a vehicle that didn’t dim its headlights is now facing a felony drug charge in Brown County.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht reported that he found five syringes in 25-year-old Abdul Ahmadi’s possession. The driver of the vehicle Ahmadi was in gave police consent to search the vehicle after he was stopped for failure to dim headlights, a probable cause affidavit states.

Ahmadi also faces a misdemeanor because he did not give police his real name when first asked. He was also wanted out of Kentucky for parole-related offenses, the affidavit said.

Ahmadi was charged May 15 with unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, and false informing, a Class B misdemeanor.
