Notice to Taxpayers of Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Brown County, Indiana, that the County Council will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place at 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana at 6:30 pm on the 19th day of June, 2017.

Amount Requested

Fund Name:  Highway Fund #1176

1176 531 3052 Repair Trucks                                                 $50,000.00

Fund Name:  Clerk’s Record Perpetuation Fund #1119

1119 000 5005 Other Services and Charges                        $10,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF).  The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
