SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Upcoming events include:

•Thursday, July 6: Senior meeting; cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.

•Monday, July 10: Hoosier Hills Food Bank pickup, 9 to 11 a.m.

•Thursday, July 13: Lunch at Nazarene church, bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.

•Saturday, July 15: Community yard sale and sausage gravy breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger.

•Thursday, July 20: Cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; nurse’s visit, 10 to 11 a.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.

•Monday, July 24: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.

•Thursday, July 27: Trip to T.C. Steele State Historic Site, bring sack lunch, bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
