Gnaw Bone BBQ had so many customers who wanted to help the Martin family, the restaurant ran out of food.

The benefit raised $4,396.53 for Ernest Martin Jr.’s widow and children Saturday. Martin, 36, was killed in a car crash June 25.

He was the pastor at Gnaw Bone Wesleyan Church, which is next door to Gnaw Bone BBQ.
