Letters: Compromise on venue necessary

0

To the editor:

The proposed Maple Leaf Concert Venue has seemingly caused many questions among the residents of Brown County.

Unfortunately, people seem to have been polarized into two groups — those for the project and those against it.

This polarization has needlessly turned the issue into a black or white one.

It appears that many who support the project consider those who question its location as being against the project.

What about the people who support the project but are opposed to the location? Are their concerns invalid or not worthy of serious consideration?

I had hoped/thought that we, as a community, were more thoughtful and intelligent than that.
